Sharikani

Sharikani is an imaginative 11-year-old boy living in Luhombero, Tanzania. He is an attentive student who likes studying and carries a deep love for his language arts class. In his free time, he thoroughly enjoys drawing. Looking to the future, Sharikani balances two big passions and dreams of becoming either a professional artist or a soccer player when he grows up.

He shares a brick home with a metal sheet roof alongside his parents and three brothers. His parents work hard as farmers to support the household. However, due to low agricultural production, they face an ongoing struggle and cannot afford to provide for all of the family’s basic daily needs. This financial strain makes securing standard supplies a constant hurdle. A steady sponsorship will bring essential relief to his household, ensuring Sharikani has the tools, clothing, and school materials required to stay in the classroom and confidently chase his ambitions.
