Sarah

Sarah is a 68-year-old woman from Sangla A, Kenya. She enjoys farming and loves spending time with her family. Her children are very important to her and inspire her not to give up, even during difficult times. Sarah lives in a house made of dirt with a sheet metal roof. She cares for her daughter, who lives with a disability, as well as her granddaughter. Since her husband passed away eight years ago, Sarah has carried the responsibility of supporting and caring for her family. Although she sometimes struggles with low energy due to anaemia, Sarah remains hopeful and determined to build a better future for her family.
