Samuel

Samuel is an enthusiastic and cheerful 5-year-old boy living in Meru, Kenya. He is currently attending preschool, where mathematics is his favorite subject, and he enjoys writing numbers and letters. Samuel is an active child who loves singing and playing soccer with his peers. Inspired to protect others and uphold safety in his community, he dreams of becoming a police officer when he grows up.

He lives in a stone home with a metal sheet roof alongside his parents, three sisters, and grandfather. His parents work as casual laborers, earning minimum wages to care for the large household. Relying on modest, temporary earnings to support a multi-generational family of seven makes meeting daily necessities and keeping up with ongoing school fees a continuous financial struggle, often causing delays in his education.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
