Reese

Reese is eight years old and lives in Pulilan, Philippines. She is in Grade 1, where she especially loves language arts—she enjoys learning new words and discovering stories each day. In fact, going to school is something she looks forward to; it’s where her curiosity comes alive. Her favorite colour is pink, and it often shows up in the little things she loves. At home, her mornings begin with a simple routine, as her mother teaches her how to fix the bedding—small lessons that help her grow in responsibility. Reese enjoys drawing and playing traditional games with her friends, filling her free time with creativity and laughter. She also helps run errands at home, doing her part to support her family. One day, Reese hopes to become a teacher, inspired by her love of learning and the joy she finds in the classroom. She lives in a cement home with a metal sheet roof, together with her parents, her brother, and her sister. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
