Raju

Raju is a bright, active, and spontaneous 8-year-old boy living in Bhadradri Kothagudem, India. He is currently a second-grade student who goes to class regularly, performs wonderfully on his exams, and loves mathematics. Raju is a creative and enthusiastic learner who enjoys drawing pictures, reading, and participating in every school program. With his caring nature, he dreams of becoming a doctor when he grows up so he can take care of others. In his free time, he loves the color pink, being with his friends, and playing with his little sister.

Raju and his sister are being raised by their loving grandparents, Jayamma and her husband, in a brick home with a cement roof. While his grandparents work hard as daily laborers to provide for the household and ensure the children have a stable upbringing, Raju brings immense joy to their lives—especially when his teachers praise him for answering questions so well in class. His family is deeply proud of his hard work and grateful for the support that keeps him thriving in school.
