Nicol

Nicol is a resilient and creative 11-year-old girl who is currently in the sixth grade. She is a dedicated student who loves art class and spends her free time coloring and drawing at home. Full of hope, she lives by the motto that nothing is impossible if you try, and she dreams of becoming a chef one day so she can cook delicious meals.

She lives with her mother and brother in a wooden home with a metal sheet roof. Nicol faces severe, ongoing medical challenges, including type 1 diabetes with complications, nephrotic syndrome, and autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura, which frequently lead to health instability and emergency room hospitalizations. Because managing these complex conditions places a heavy emotional and financial strain on her single mother, the sponsorship program provides a critical lifeline that helps ensure Nicol can access the necessary support, daily necessities, and care she needs to focus on her health and education.

Sponsorship enables children and young adults to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
