Matviy

Matviy is a 5-year-old boy from Slovyatyn village, Ukraine. He is in kindergarten and is a kind and helpful child who enjoys supporting his mother with small tasks around the house. Matviy loves cycling, playing with toy cars, and colouring pictures. He dreams of going to university one day and works hard as he grows and learns. He lives with his mother and two brothers in a brick house with a tile roof. His mother is raising the children on her own after the passing of his father last year. The family relies on what they can grow in their garden, as job opportunities in their rural area are very limited. Despite these challenges, Matviy remains a gentle, cheerful boy with hope for a bright future. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
