Luis

Luis is ten years old and lives in Colonia 20 de Octubre, Guatemala. He is in Grade 2, where he especially enjoys mathematics and takes pride in completing his homework. He is a cheerful and active boy who loves going to school. During recess, he plays ball with his friends, and in his free time, he enjoys drawing, painting, and playing marbles. At home, he values time with his siblings, often playing soccer together. Luis is also responsible and helpful, growing up in a family that works hard to support one another. He lives in a brick home with a metal sheet roof, along with his parents, his two brothers, and his sister. Luis dreams of becoming a police officer one day, inspired by his desire to serve and protect his community. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
