Lucas

Lucas is a 6-year-old boy living in San Vicente, Peru. Originally from Chincha, he now lives in Cañete where he attends elementary school, earning praise as an obedient student who loves mathematics class and already knows how to read, write, count, and add up to one thousand. Lucas has a deep love for learning, enjoys looking up the meanings of new words in the dictionary, riding his bicycle, singing, dancing, and playing with his many friends.

He lives with his mother, Yessica, and his two sisters in a home constructed of brick with a brick roof. Following the tragic passing of his father three years ago, his mother works hard as an early childhood education assistant to support the family through many hardships, raising Lucas to be a well-behaved, compassionate boy who always wants to grow up to be a police officer and help those less fortunate.
