Karri

Karri is a 10-year-old girl living in Mangalagiri, India. She is a bright student who has a great love for her literature class and dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up. She is very fond of flowers, enjoys dancing, and loves playing Kho-Kho, a local traditional game, with her friends.

She lives with her parents and her brother in a home constructed of brick with an asbestos roof. Karri is a dedicated and cheerful young girl whose love for learning, community, and future aspirations reflects her hopeful spirit.
