Karen is a friendly and outgoing 7-year-old girl living in Comunidad Victorias 3, Guatemala. She is currently in kindergarten, where mathematics is her favorite subject. Karen loves drawing, painting, and playing with her classmates, neighbors, and family. Inspiring to make a difference in her community, she dreams of becoming a doctor so she can care for and heal the sick.

She lives with her relatives in a wooden home with a palm leaf roof.
