Jenifer

Jenifer is a 69-year-old woman living in Kamito, Kenya. She finds deep purpose and engagement in storytelling, dedicated to inspiring and mentoring the local youth despite the physical challenges she faces. She also finds enjoyment in tending to her garden whenever her energy allows.

She lives independently in a home constructed of dirt with a metal sheet roof. Jenifer is a resilient woman whose strength is reflected in her commitment to her community and her perseverance through the daily difficulties of arthritis and diabetes.
