Jacob

Jacob is an adventurous 8-year-old boy living in Kasisi Mission, Zambia. He is an enthusiastic student whose favorite subject is technology class, and he loves spending his free time playing with his friends. Fascinated by the sky and not very scared of heights, Jacob gets incredibly excited whenever he sees planes fly over his house and dreams of becoming a pilot when he grows up.

He lives with his mother, brother, and four sisters in a brick home with a metal sheet roof. Growing up in a large, single-mother household creates a constant financial hurdle as his mother works hard to cover daily necessities and school costs for six children on a single income. The sponsorship program provides a critical foundation for Jacob, offering the consistent resources his family needs to ensure he can stay healthy and focused on his studies.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
