Jacinta

Jacinta is a 77-year-old woman living in Nanyuki, Kenya. A source of wisdom and warmth in her community, she finds great fulfillment in cooking and dedicated her time to offering guidance and counsel to younger women. Despite facing health challenges that have deteriorated her physical wellbeing, she maintains a remarkably grateful and happy spirit.

She lives with her husband in a brick home with a metal sheet roof. Together, they work as farmers, relying on the land as their primary source of income. Jacinta’s resilience and positive outlook serve as an inspiration to those around her, reflecting her deep-seated joy and commitment to her family and community.
