Irene

Irene is a 4-year-old girl from Wa, Ghana. A creative and imaginative child, she is frequently praised by her teachers for her artistic talent and her friendly spirit toward her classmates. She especially loves her mathematics class and finds great joy in drawing objects and designing new things. Inspired by a desire to help her community, Irene dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up.

She lives with her mother in a brick home with a thatched roof. Irene is a bright and motivated young girl who approaches her early education with a vibrant imagination and a kind heart.
