Illya

Illya is a 12-year-old boy from Kremenets, Ukraine. He is currently in grade 6 and has a fascinating interest in geology class. A social and creative child, Illya loves going to school to see his many friends and enjoys spending his free time building with Lego. When he grows up, he hopes to become a forest ranger.

He lives with his parents and three brothers in a brick house with a tile roof. Amidst the ongoing challenges of the war in Ukraine, Illya remains a hopeful young boy who prays for peace for his country and his family.
