Gerard

Gerard is a 16-year-old boy from Jérémie, Haiti. He is in grade 9 and especially enjoys physical education. Gerard likes studying and is committed to doing well in school. When he grows up, he hopes to become a doctor so he can give back to his community and help others. He is determined to create a better future for his family. Gerard lives with his mother, two brothers, and three sisters in a cement house with a sheet metal roof. He is a focused and motivated young man with a strong desire to make a difference. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
