Fatuma

Fatuma is a 7-year-old girl living in Luhombero, Tanzania. She has a deep love for her language arts class and finds great joy in reading at home and playing with her friends. A bright and dedicated student, she dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up.

She lives with her parents and brother in a home made of dirt with a thatched roof. Fatuma is an ambitious young girl whose passion for literacy and her desire to attend school reflect her hopeful and resilient spirit.
