Elona

Elona lives with her parents, two brothers, and older sister in a plywood house with a palm leaf roof. She is currently in grade three and literature is her favourite language. She is an excellent student who is almost always on the honour list in her school. Her father works as a carpenter and their family income is not enough to sustain their daily needs. She dreams of becoming a great nurse some day, and helping members of her community who are in need. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
