Edy

Edy is a very active and sweet Little boy from Ipala, Guatemala. When he’s not in daycare he likes playing soccer with his friends and even wants to be a professional soccer player when he grows up. He loves going to church and one of his favourite pastimes is acting out processions of the Virgin Mary. Edy also enjoys bananas and his favourite meal is red beans with egg and cheese.

Edy lives with his mother, Tania, and sister in a small home. As a single parent, Tania does her best to care for the family but it can be difficult when she does not have reliable work. Sponsoring Edy would help this family and ease some of their financial stress, ensuring Edy can have access to healthy meals and medical care so he can start school with a strong foundation for success.
