Deepanjali

Deepanjali lives with her mother, grandmother, and older brother in Karanataka, India. she is currently in grade two and art is her favourite subject – of course! When she is not busy with school work, this eight year old enjoys playing ball and dancing. Deepanjali dreams of becoming a police officer some day and helping her community. Her father died three years ago and her mother works hard cooking for a boarding school to support the family. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
