Daya

Daya lives in Kerala, India, with her parents and older sister. She is currently in grade one and is an excellent student who loves literature classes. This five year old dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up. When she is not busy with school, Daya likes to sing and run. Her father cannot work for health reasons and her mother is employed through a government labour program. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
