David

David is a 10-year-old boy living in Luhombero, Tanzania. He has a great interest in his civics class and finds joy in playing with his friends. He is a dedicated student who dreams of becoming a doctor when he grows up.

He lives with his mother and brother in a home constructed of brick with a metal sheet roof. His father works on a farm away from home for parts of the year, visiting the family whenever he can. David is a bright and ambitious young boy whose commitment to his studies and his family reflects his hopeful spirit.
