Dalila

Dalila is four years old and lives in Colonia 20 de Octubre, Guatemala. She is in kindergarten, a stage she embraces with joy as she begins to learn and explore new things each day. She has a bright, gentle spirit. Dalila loves to pray in the morning and before classes with her teacher and classmates. At school, she especially enjoys art time, where she colors and draws, and she is already learning her vowels and numbers—eager for the day she can read and write on her own. Her days are filled with simple joys—playing and laughing with friends, singing together, and imagining stories with her dolls. At home, she takes pride in her schoolwork and is learning to be responsible in small ways. On weekends, she enjoys going to church with her family. She lives with her parents in a small home made of metal sheets with a metal roof. Dalila dreams of becoming a nurse one day, inspired by her caring heart.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
