Clara

Clara is a faithful and energetic 6-year-old girl living in Tanzania. She is currently in grade 1, where language arts and mathematics are her favorite subjects. Clara is a talented child who loves singing in her church choir, accompanying her grandmother to choir practice, and playing soccer with her peers. Inspired by her faith and a devotion to serving others, she works hard in school and hopes to become a nun when she grows up.

She lives in a brick home with a metal sheet roof alongside her two brothers and grandmother. Her grandmother cares for the children and supports the household through farming and chicken rearing. Relying on small-scale agricultural activities to care for a multi-generational family makes meeting everyday household needs and covering ongoing educational expenses a continuous financial struggle.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
