Belita

Belita lives in a brick house with a thatched roof in Chishinga, Zambia. She lives with her parents and three sisters. She is currently in grade one and her favourite subject is math. She enjoys playing with her dolls when she is not busy with schoolwork. When she grows up, she wants to become a teacher! Belita likes role playing. She relies on braille for her education because she has a visual disability. Sponsorship connects children with disabilities to inclusive educational, occupational, and social activities that help them see their strengths and achieve their dreams.
