Baïna is an 8-year-old girl from Ravine Blanche, Haiti. She is in grade 3 and especially enjoys mathematics. Baïna is a hardworking student who studies diligently and is dedicated to doing well in school. She also helps with household activities at home and takes her responsibilities seriously. When she grows up, she hopes to become a nurse so she can care for sick people in her community. Baïna lives with her mother, brother, and sister in a stone house with a sheet metal roof. She is a determined and caring young girl with a strong desire to help others and build a better future. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
