Albertina

Albertina lives in a brick house with a sheet metal roof in Kazembe, Zambia. She lives with her mother, three brothers, and sister. She is currently in grade seven and her favourite subjects are math and science. She wants to be a teacher! Albertina is visually impaired, she relies on braille for her education. She attends a specialized boarding school during the school year. She likes playing goalball, singing, and playing with her friends. She loves her mother, sister, and three brothers. Her father passed away. Sponsorship helps students with disabilities access and take part in educational programs with specialized teachers, accessible and inclusive spaces, and the right support to reach their full potential.
