Our Nandom sponsor site continues to bring Our Lady to the airwaves across northern Ghana. Thanks to supporters of their site through Chalice, they can use airtime that reaches many homes in their community and beyond.

Every evening, Members of a prayer group in St. Theresa’s Minor Basilica Parish, which shares offices with the Nandom site team, pray the rosary over the air. They see it as “a vital spiritual resource,” says Charles, Nandom site director, “bringing the community together in prayer and devotion, particularly for parishioners who are homebound, elderly, or living in remote areas.”
They see the radio as a tool for quicker, more consistent, companionship for not only their fellow parishioners “but also individuals and families in remote areas who rely on radio as their primary source of spiritual connection,” he says.
They can see their impact. “The program has strengthened the spiritual lives of many in the community,” Charles says. “It continues to be a source of comfort, especially for the elderly, the sick, and those unable to attend church services regularly.”
Community listeners are constantly giving positive feedback for the shared prayer. They can see it “fostering unity, deepening faith, and bringing comfort to the spiritually vulnerable.”
