Saumyo is a determined 19-year-old university student pursuing a degree in Agriculture. Full of energy and ambition, he dreams of building a better future through education. He enjoys football and cricket, and despite his family’s limited means, he has always worked hard to make the most of every opportunity. His parents run a small fast-food stall, and their modest income supports the entire family, including the education of their children.
Everything changed in an instant when Saumyo was returning home from college. A vehicle traveling in the opposite direction collided with his motorcycle, leaving him with devastating injuries. He suffered a broken leg, fractured upper and lower jaw, and several broken teeth. After receiving emergency first aid, he was transferred to another hospital where he underwent surgery on his leg and later received extensive treatment for his jaw and dental injuries.
Although Saumyo survived the accident, his recovery has been long and difficult. He is no longer in the hospital, but he continues to attend weekly follow-up appointments and is slowly learning to regain his mobility. Simple tasks that once came easily now require patience, determination, and ongoing medical care. His greatest hope is to heal completely so he can return to university and continue working toward the future he has dreamed of.
To save their son, Saumyo’s parents borrowed money for his surgeries and treatment, placing their family under overwhelming financial pressure. They never hesitated to choose his health, but the burden of debt now threatens the stability of their small business and their ability to continue supporting their children.
Your kindness can help lift this heavy burden. By helping ease the cost of Saumyo’s medical care, you would allow his family to focus on his recovery instead of overwhelming financial stress. Most importantly, you would give a hardworking young man the chance to return to his studies, rebuild his confidence, and pursue the future he has worked so hard to achieve.
