Our three sponsor sites in Ukraine are still carrying the burdens of war with Russia, nearly three years into the horrific conflict. Power cuts, air raid sirens, unemployment, a crippled economy. Men of all ages sent to the front lines, and some never returning.

Yuliana’s neighborhood was the target of rocket attacks in September. The blasts caused damage to her home and school, and she was one of nearly 200 families affected. Unfortunately, seven people died in the attack that day, including a girl around Yuliana’s age.
