Yuliya

Yuliya is a 6-year-old girl from Ternopil, Ukraine. She enjoys dancing and drawing and is excited to begin school this year. When she grows up, Yuliya dreams of becoming a police officer. Yuliya lives in a cement apartment with a sheet metal roof with her mother, her older brother, and her grandfather, who is ill. Her mother works hard to care for the family while also looking after Yuliya’s grandfather. However, it is difficult for her to provide everything the children need. Yuliya will begin school in September, but her mother struggles to afford necessary clothing, textbooks, and school supplies for her and her brother. Yuliya is a cheerful child with big dreams. Sponsorship would help provide the support she needs to start school and look forward to a brighter future. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
