Veleyzaveta

Yelyzaveta is a 7-year-old girl from Terebovlya, Ukraine. She is in Grade 1 and especially loves literature class. She enjoys reading, visiting the library, and is an excellent student who works hard in school. When she grows up, Yelyzaveta hopes to become a hairdresser. She also dreams of going to camp one day. Yelyzaveta lives with her mother, brother, and sister in a brick home with a metal sheet roof. The family does not own their home and faces financial challenges. Her mother is doing her very best to care for her children but struggles to meet their basic needs. Yelyzaveta is a bright and determined young girl with big dreams for her future. Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
