Teresia

Teresia is a 79-year-old woman who lives in Songea, Tanzania. She enjoys praying and finds comfort in her faith. Despite facing health challenges, she is grateful for the support of her parish and her granddaughter. Teresia is unable to work due to her eyesight and chronic pain, and she has lost her husband. She lives in a brick home with a sheet metal roof. Sponsorship enables elders to eat well, access healthcare and medication, and connect socially with a community that fosters a sense of belonging.
