Pesica

Pesica is a 76-year-old woman from Nyabande, Kenya. She is a devoted Christian who enjoys attending prayer services and praying for others in her community. Pesica is known for being jovial, polite, and for enjoying time spent with her friends. She lives in a cement house with a sheet metal roof with her brother. Pesica attends monthly medical appointments for ongoing health issues at a clinic that is far from her home, which can be challenging for her to reach. She also has difficulty seeing, which makes daily life more difficult. Despite these challenges, Pesica remains positive and faithful, finding strength in prayer and in the friendships she treasures. Sponsorship enables elders to eat well, access healthcare and medication, and connect socially with a community that fosters a sense of belonging.
