Mark Zander

Mark Zander is a 7-year-old boy from Navotas, Philippines. He is in kindergarten and enjoys practicing writing and dancing. Mark Zander is learning many new things at school—he can already name the colours and write his own name. When he grows up, he hopes to become a police officer. Mark Zander lives in a house made of plywood with a metal sheet roof with his mother, two brothers, and two sisters. The family’s income is not enough to always cover their most basic needs. Mark Zander’s mother also has a hearing impairment, which makes it difficult for her to find steady work. ponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
