Mark Jorren

Mark Jorren is a cheerful 10-year-old boy from Tondo, Philippines. He is in Grade 3 and loves language arts class. He enjoys playing local games with friends and brings a playful, joyful spirit wherever he goes. When he grows up, Mark Jorren dreams of becoming a police officer. At home, he tries his best to help his mother with household chores, knowing how hard she works to care for their family. Mark Jorren lives with his mother, two brothers, and one sister in a plywood house with a sheet-metal roof. Their community is located near the ocean and is often prone to flooding during high tides and heavy rains.  Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
