Ann

Ann is 95 years old and lives in Juakali, Kenya. Her days move at a gentle, steady pace—often beginning with the familiar rhythm of sweeping and the quiet comfort of a song on her lips. She cares for her chickens with patience and attention, making sure they are well fed and safe. It’s work she takes pride in, a small but meaningful part of her daily life. Ann lives with high blood pressure and does her best to take care of herself, balancing rest with the routines that keep her active and engaged. She lives in a wooden house with a metal roof, alongside her son, who lovingly looks after her in their shared home.
