Jhoselin is a young woman who has always dreamed big, even though her path has been full of challenges.
She was born and raised in a humble family of seven, where every day was lived with effort and sacrifice. Despite economic limitations, love and determination to move forward were abundant.
The Impact of Sponsorship in Jhoselin’s Life
From a young age, Jhoselin felt a strong calling to help others. This is how her desire to become a Social Worker was born, a profession that would allow her to accompany and support those facing difficult situations, just as she had once experienced.
During her childhood and adolescence, she was part of the sponsorship program, which became a fundamental pillar in her life. She received not only material support, but also constant motivation. Knowing that someone believed in her, that she had sponsors concerned about her well-being and education, gave her the strength to keep going, even when circumstances were difficult.
Jhoselin also took on a significant role at a young age: she is the mother of a six-year-old boy, who became her greatest source of inspiration. Raising him while studying was not easy. There were moments of exhaustion, of doubt, of wanting to give up, but the love for her son, the support of her family, and the help from the sponsorship program kept her moving forward.
“During university I went through many hardships,” recalls Jhoselin. “There were many responsibilities and never enough time. But I always remembered why I had started and who I needed to continue for: my son, my family, myself. I worked hard, and I made it.”
A Graduation Filled with Gratitude
On her graduation day as a Social Worker Jhoselin reflected on everything she has accomplished and everyone who supported her along the way. With her degree in hand and the emotional gaze of her family and loved ones, Jhoselin felt that all the sacrifices had been worth it.
“That day was not only mine. It belonged to my son, my parents, my siblings, and also to my sponsors. They believed in me, supported me in every stage of this journey. I am eternally grateful. Thank you to my sponsors for coming into my life, for giving me your love, your guidance, and your help in the most important moments. This achievement is also yours. I will never forget your generosity and unconditional support. I always pray for you, for your health and for your lives. May God multiply everything you have done for me.”
