What state of affairs will you leave for your family?

When a loved one dies, those left behind must respond to time-sensitive responsibilities and pressing estate issues while deep in grief. Often, this is much more than just a will. You can relieve some of their pain and sorrow by preparing in advance to make this process easier.

On the death of her husband Allan, Brenda experienced the normal challenges of dealing with an estate while grieving the loss of her best friend. Though still hard, Brenda had the benefit of his plan to guide her through those hazy days. After going through the process, she saw there was an opportunity to take “estate planning” to another level. That was when she created the “Estate in One Place Program.”

Brenda, an accomplished financial and estate advisor, realized that every person could benefit from an estate binder containing all the documents and wishes needed for the Executor and/or family to settle the deceased’s affairs; one consolidated directory as a clear roadmap for those in emotional pain. Better yet, it eliminates guesswork and the possibility of conflict or tensions. Nothing and no one gets overlooked.

Brenda’s mission these days is to help as many people as possible to create their own estate directory binder, physically or electronically. She will tailor your directory to fit your needs – without your confidential information ever being disclosed. Her program also includes small business owners who have their own set of concerns.

Both Brenda and Allan have been generous supporters and sponsors through Chalice for many years. In her estate program, Brenda encourages sponsors to consider naming a successor for their sponsored child, rather than cancel their sponsorship or bequest a gift to their child (which is difficult and complicated for Chalice to administer).

From one sponsor to another, Brenda wants to offer her program to you to ensure you can have this powerful tool for your families, in their time of grief. Create your directory with Brenda on your own timeline, within your schedule. Once completed, you will give yourself, your loved ones or your small business the gift of a comprehensive estate directory – all in one place.
