“Peace of our Lord Jesus remain to you all,” says 16-year-old Jozantha.

Jozantha was sponsored in February 2023, when she was in grade nine at a Catholic high school in Goa, India.

“Right from the beginning, I was very excited," she says. Now she gets to attend after-school social activities with other sponsored children and teens like herself.

“At the meetings I learned fellowship with others, to learn and pray with children from other walks of life. I made new friends and many other special things.”

“I am very happy to be a part of this beautiful sponsorship program,” Jozantha says, “which has helped me financially to buy my educational items, my healthcare, healthy food, and for the development of my family. Life is much easier now.”

In November, Jozantha was thrilled to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. She sewed her own dress, and thanks to her sponsor, bought new shoes for the momentous occasion.

“I lift my sponsor and her family each day in my prayers,” Jozantha says, “and I'm very grateful to her. I give full gratitude to God also.”
