We can all agree, the world needs prayer.
At the Chalice offices in Canada, we hear from our global colleagues about what they are praying for. They’ll let us know the names of the sick, the dying, and those in crisis, who live in their sponsor sites.
Every Monday, during our daily staff morning prayer, we pray for these intentions, by name.
This Lent, we hope you will too.
You are invited to Pray for Our World, our Lent 2024 prayer offering.
If you sign up to join us, we will send you one email per week for the five weeks between Ash Wednesday and Palm Sunday. Each email will highlight one region where Chalice works, and the prayer intentions they have requested of their Chalice family.
No matter how you pray, your intercessions are incalculably valuable. You may choose to fast or offer a small sacrifice, but that decision is entirely between you and God.
If you wish, you will be able to reply to the intentions with words of hope and encouragement, which we will collect and send to the person who needs to hear them.
