Yohana

This enthusiastic little girl is 11-year-old Yohana from San Pedro Del Ycuamandyju, Paraguay. She is currently in Grade 4 and especially loves her literature class. She also enjoys drawing and painting in her free time. When she grows up, she hopes to become a nurse.

Yohana lives with her parents, two brothers, three sisters, and grandmother. Her father is a bricklayer and her mother stays home to care for the children. While her father works hard, work is not always consistent and wages are minimal, so being part of the sponsorship program would be a wonderful opportunity for Yohana. It would greatly benefit the family by relieving some of the financial strain of educational costs and would ensure Yohana can continue her studies to get the foundational education she will need to be successful and achieve her goal of becoming a nurse.

Sponsorship enables children to attend class every day and have the supplies they need to complete their education, grow up healthy, and achieve their dreams.
