Catherine

Catherine lives in a cement house in Arica, Chile. She lives with her parents, three sisters, and two brothers. She was born with a cognitive disability, she is a kind and cheerful girl who is in need of urgent sponsorship. Catherine likes zumba dancing, walking her dog, and she enjoys listening to music. Her is mom does not work, she is Catherine’s care giver. Her father earns a low wage but it is not enough for food and necessities. Sponsorship connects adults with disabilities to inclusive educational, occupational, and social activities and enables them to live dignified and healthy lives, regardless of their level of independence.
