Anjukumari is a devoted mother whose life revolves around caring for her family. Despite living in a small single-room house with no electricity and shared basic facilities, she has always faced hardship with determination and hope.

For years, Anjukumari quietly endured a worsening physical condition. During her second pregnancy, her legs began bending abnormally, forcing her onto complete bed rest before delivery. After childbirth, she received treatment and medication, but financial hardship prevented her from continuing the prescribed care. As a result, the pain gradually became part of her everyday life.

In October 2025, her condition worsened dramatically when she slipped and fell, leaving her unable to walk. Medical examinations revealed a serious right knee deformity known as genu recurvatum, which required urgent corrective surgery.

The diagnosis was devastating for the family. Her husband, an agricultural laborer with irregular employment, suddenly had to care for his wife, support their two children, and manage the household alone. Determined to help her, he borrowed money to ensure she could undergo the surgery. Although the operation was successful, recovery has been slow and challenging.

Today, Anjukumari remains under medical supervision and attends regular follow-up appointments. She is still unable to move freely and has been instructed to remain on extended bed rest. Because their home is located in a hilly area, she is temporarily staying with relatives in a more accessible location while she recovers.
The emotional impact on the family is profound. Her children miss the mother who once cared for every aspect of their daily lives, while her husband struggles to balance caregiving responsibilities with earning an income.

Anjukumari’s story is one of resilience, sacrifice, and hope. With compassionate support, this family can focus on healing rather than hardship, giving her the opportunity to regain her strength and return to the loved ones who depend on her.

Thank you for your compassion and for taking the time to think about those in need.
