Pf. Lephroziio
August 13, 2012
Pf. Lephroziio lives with his parents, one brother and two sisters, in a three-room mud house with dirt floors and a tin roof, in Senapati, in the Manipur area of India. Pf. Lephroziio is in the upper kindergarten class at De Paul School and his best subject is English. He likes to play ball games. He is from a poor farming family, and his parents are struggling to provide the basic needs of their children. At the Orissa Sponsor Site, sponsorship lessens the financial stress of families so that children can receive educational support, proper nutrition, and medical care, allowing them to stay in school and get a good education.
If paying by credit card online please write down the child’s ID number. Thank you!

A SPECIAL NOTE TO SPONSORS FROM THE USA. We will send you a receipt for income tax purposes following the end of each calendar year. Chalice is not a registered charity in the USA, but Canada and the USA do have a tax treaty which allows a tax deduction under certain conditions. Basically, a resident of the USA may be eligible to claim a deduction against taxable income received from Canada. Please consult a qualified financial advisor to review your own personal situation. You can still sponsor if you don't require an official income tax receipt. We have many sponsors from the USA and we send them our heartfelt thank you.
